Prayer as worship

And those who had triumphed
over the beastly law and its numerous names
stood beside a glassy sea
holding their God-given harps
as they harmoniously sang
the song of Moses the servant of God
and the song of the Lamb, saying:

“Mighty and marvelous
are Your works, O Lord God,
the Omnipotent,
the Righteous,
the Just.

“Your ways are true, O Sovereign King
of the ages, of the nations, of us,
and all shall reverence and glorify
Your Name, O Lord,
giving You honor and praise and worship.

“For You alone are holy.
And all nations
will come to worship You
and adore You
for Your justice
when the righteousness You’ve shown
has been made known.”
