A prayer of Hagar


When Hagar fled into the desert to escape her mistress, the expectant mother thought she would surely die. But an angel of the Lord appeared to her with comfort and a prophetic word. Then Hagar said:


"You are EL Roi!

You are the God Who sees me!

You watch over me,"


Genesis 16:13.
