Deuteronomy 30:15-16 – “Look. I have set before you today life or
death, prosperity or adversity. If you obey the instructions of the Lord your
God and walk in God’s ways and keep God’s commands, you chose life. Then you
will multiply and have the blessings of the Lord on you wherever you go.”
Oh, Lord, help us to choose life! Of course, we prefer prosperity over
adversity, but choosing life isn’t always as clear. Please remind us with every
decision to ask ourselves, “Will this
lead to life? Will this be for good? Will this be pleasing to You? Will this be
in line with Your will and ways?”
Thank You, Lord God, for giving us free will. Help us to freely choose Your will for us in Jesus' Name. Amen.
